Job summary

Majestic Wine Group is seeking a Sales Assistant in Bath to support the store team, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, plus a UK manual driving licence for company van work.

30 hours per week with a salary of £19,827.60, and opportunities for WSET study and internal development. You will help maintain store appearance, engage customers with product knowledge, and support day-to-day operations including deliveries

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience to every customer.
• Self-motivated, able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Can-do attitude with a passion for solving problems.
• Adaptable and resilient to changing business needs.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial; willing to learn Level 2 WSET.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Act as store ambassador, sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Assist with stock deliveries, merchandising and store upkeep.
• Handle opening/closing procedures with compliance and safety.
