Job summary

Majestic Wine Cheltenham is hiring a Sales Assistant to support the store team in driving sales and daily operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service and help optimise KPI performance, acting as a brand ambassador for guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer VIP concierge service with product updates and tastings.
• Sell the story; share passion and knowledge about our range.
• Develop wine knowledge to support WSET qualification.
• Maintain store appearance and manage stock deliveries.
• Take part in all daily store operations including deliveries and customer calls.
• Identify improvements to optimise store operations and communicate with the team.
• Ensure compliance, safety, and training requirements are met.
• Act as a key holder with opening/closing responsibilities.
