Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Manchester is seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to support the store team, drive sales performance and deliver exceptional customer service. You will handle day-to-day store operations, assist with stock, merchandising and customer engagement to boost KPI performance.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and entails driving company vans with a full UK manual licence. Great wine knowledge and a willingness to grow with Majestic are valued.

Qualifications

• Excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial but passion to learn more is essential to pass level 2 WSET wine qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and supporting targets.
• Deliver market-leading customer service to drive growth through loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Provide VIP concierge service and proactively contact customers with product updates and tastings.
• Take ownership of wine knowledge and pursue WSET qualification while selling.
• Ensure the store looks professional and is well maintained both inside and outside.
