Job summary

Majestic Wine Group in Uttoxeter & Ashbourne is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager for a 12-month development programme to gain a detailed understanding of all store operations, service, and leadership standards required to become a future Majestic Store Manager.

You will progress through a career pathway with the Store Manager, building hands-on experience and leadership skills to lead a Majestic Wine store in the future. The role requires flexibility for travel to surrounding stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service to every customer.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills under pressure.
• Self-motivated, able to work alone or in a team and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPI performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive growth and loyalty.
• Provide VIP level updates to customers about products and tastings.
• Share passion for wine and manage a tasting events programme to engage customers.
