Majestic Wine in Oxford is seeking a dynamic Trainee Manager to join a 12-month development programme, designed to give you a detailed understanding and experience of all operational, service and leadership standards needed to become a future Majestic Store Manager. You will work through the career pathway training with support from the Store Manager, setting you up for future success and leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environments.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Wine knowledge is beneficial; willingness to pursue WSET levels 2 & 3.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and KPI improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Provide VIP concierge-style service and keep customers updated on tastings.
• Sell the story of our wines through knowledge and tastings.
• Support store appearance and maintenance.
• Assist with day-to-day operations including deliveries and stock.
• Identify opportunities to optimise store operations.
