Majestic Wine Group is recruiting a Trainee Manager in South Manchester for a 12-month development programme designed to build future store leadership. You will cover a broad pathway from operations to customer service while supporting neighboring stores as needed.

The role requires full flexibility to work weekends, a clean UK manual license, and a passion for wine. A structured training plan and career progression await the selected candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments.
• Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel across multiple stores.
• Passion for learning about wines and wine knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and KPI improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to drive growth and loyalty.
• Provide VIP concierge service with product updates and tastings.
• Promote the store through knowledge of our range and tasting events.
• Develop wine knowledge to support WSET qualifications.
• Maintain store appearance and handle day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and compliance.
