Job summary

Majestic Wine Trainee Manager role offers a 12‑month development programme to build expertise in operations, service and leadership, preparing you to become a future Majestic Store Manager. You will travel to support surrounding stores and gain wide exposure to sales, service and inventory management.

With full training, weekends/evenings required, and a pathway through our leadership framework, you will grow through hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment while working towards

Qualifications

• Be able to deliver exceptional customer experience & service to every single customer.
• Prioritise and strategically problem solve in high pressure environments.
• Self-motivated, able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn, including WSET Level 2 & 3.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and improving KPI performance.
• Deliver exceptional market leading customer service to drive growth and loyalty.
• Provide VIP concierge service with proactive product updates and tastings.
• Share product knowledge, manage tasting events, and run a commercially savvy tasting counter.
• Take ownership of wine knowledge and pursue WSET qualifications.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure compliance with policies and training.
• Support day-to-day store operations including deliveries, merchandising and customer outreach.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
