A leading wind energy service provider based in the UK is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician. The role includes performing routine and unscheduled maintenance and working closely with a team to ensure adherence to safety regulations. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience, particularly in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical fields. DWt Ltds head office is located in Livingston. You will work closely with all departments in the UK and other group companies to ensure that we provide a level of service expected from a market leader. Although the majority of your time will be spent working in the UK you may be expected to spend some periods working with colleagues in Germany and in other DWT group countries. The wind turbine technician will be responsible for the routine preventive maintenance of the wind turbine including its mechanical electrical gearbox and hydraulic systems. Unscheduled maintenance carrying out retrofits and addressing emergency breakdowns and major component exchanges are also key responsibilities.
