Job summary

The Portfolio Group is recruiting for a Wellbeing Counsellor to join a trusted health and wellbeing network on a full-time, onsite basis. You will provide immediate emotional support via a 24/7 helpline, conduct assessments and signpost appropriately, and deliver structured telephone/video counselling arrangements that may contribute toward BACP accreditation.

Requirements include a Diploma level 4 in Counselling with 150 hours, 12 months post-qualification experience, BACP registration, and

Qualifications

• Diploma level 4 in Counselling and minimum 150 counselling hours.
• 12 months post-qualification experience.
• Registered member of the BACP or equivalent.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective telephone counselling service to all callers.
• Demonstrate ability to work with distressed individuals and those at risk.
• Provide in-the-moment support using a Solution Focused approach to achieve one call resolution.
