Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller at the Port of Liverpool to manage traffic systems and ensure safe operations. You will operate the SCADA system, process tickets, weigh vehicles, and maintain compliance with SOPs in a busy port environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and communication skills.
• Strong IT skills with ability to use multiple software packages including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Experience operating a weighbridge or in bulk handling would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the SCADA system and process tickets in line with SOPs.
• Weigh vehicles entering and leaving the site and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to support storage and vessel discharge.
• Communicate delays to the Shift Supervisor and support quick vehicle turnaround.
