Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis at the Port of Liverpool. The role focuses on maintaining the traffic management system, operating the SCADA and weighbridge, and ensuring safe, efficient vessel and cargo movements.

You will collaborate with engineers, operatives and team leaders, manage tickets, and support prompt decision-making in a fast-paced port environment. Strong IT skills and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and strong communication skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to use a range of software packages (Microsoft Office).
• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administrative support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system to ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the SCADA system and process weighbridge tickets in line with SOPs.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and manage storage activities.
• Support safe and compliant operation of weighbridge and reporting delays to Shift Supervisor.
• Provide timely updates and maintain high standards of customer service.
