Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller at the Port of Liverpool. You will manage the weighbridge and SCADA operations, ensure accurate ticketing and safe movements of vehicles, and liaise with engineers and team leaders to keep vessels and storage flowing smoothly.

The role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and strong IT skills to work in a fast-paced port environment with procedures and safety standards guiding every action.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or frontline operations.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Strong communication and IT literacy to handle multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and safe site operation.
• Weigh vehicles accurately on the weighbridge and process tickets.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and manage storage activities.
• Operate the SCADA system and report delays to the Shift Supervisor.
