Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller for the Port of Liverpool to manage the traffic system, operate the SCADA and weighbridge safely, and support vessel operations. The role requires accurate ticket processing and compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced port environment.

You will liaise with engineers and team leaders, coordinate storage, ensure timely vehicle movements, and maintain high service standards while using a range of software including Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles and strong communication skills.
• Ability to use IT systems and multiple software packages.
• Experience operating a weighbridge or similar traffic/terminal system may help.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the weighbridge and process tickets in line with procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and manage storage movements.
