Job summary

Peel Ports Group in the Port of Liverpool is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller on a fixed-term basis to oversee the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation. You will weigh vehicles, process tickets, coordinate with engineers and team leaders, and support vessel operations while maintaining high standards of customer service and accuracy.

The role requires solid IT skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safe, compliant, and efficient

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
• Solid IT skills and ability to use multiple software packages including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and SCADA system to ensure accurate ticketing.
• Maintain traffic management and safe operation of the site, including Traffic Marshalling when required.
• Communicate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and coordinate storage activities.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and assist with IT-enabled processes.
