Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller to manage traffic and operate the SCADA system at the Port of Liverpool. The role ensures safe weighbridge operation, accurate ticket processing, and effective communication with engineers and team leaders to support vessel discharge and storage coordination.

The successful candidate will have strong customer service and IT skills, adaptable to a fast-paced port environment, with a focus on accuracy and safety in all procedures.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Good IT literacy and ability to use multiple software packages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe site operation.
• Operate the SCADA system to process tickets and support weighbridge duties.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and manage storage activities.
• Provide accurate data entry and support timely vehicle movements and reporting.
