Job summary

Peel Ports Group at the Port of Liverpool seeks a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller to manage the traffic system, operate the SCADA platform and ensure safe, compliant vehicle weighing at the terminal.

You will coordinate with engineers and teams to discharge vessels, support storage activities and maintain efficient vehicle turnaround, while delivering high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure the safe operation of the site.
• Operate the weighbridge and process tickets accurately.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels.
• Support storage activities and ensure timely vehicle turnaround.
• Communicate effectively using IT software including Microsoft.
• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administration support is beneficial.
