Job summary

Peel Ports Group seeks a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller at the Port of Liverpool. You will manage weighbridge operations, SCADA control and ticket processing to support vessel movements and storage activities.

You will collaborate with engineers and team leaders, ensuring safe, compliant operations and efficient information flow in a fast-paced port environment. Strong IT and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service experience and excellent communication skills, combined with strong attention to detail.
• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administration support in an operational environment would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of bulk handling methods would be an advantage, experience within food products, food safety standards, or waste regulations is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure the safe operation of the site.
• Operate the weighbridge and SCADA system in a safe and efficient manner, processing tickets.
• Coordinate with engineers, operatives and team leaders to discharge vessels and support product movements.
• Communicate delays or issues to the Shift Supervisor and ensure smooth throughput.
• Use a range of software packages, including Microsoft tools, in daily tasks.
