Job summary

Peel Ports Group is seeking a Weighbridge/SCADA Controller to join the Port of Liverpool team. You will maintain the traffic management system, operate the SCADA system, and ensure accurate weighing of vehicles entering and leaving the site.

You will coordinate with engineers and leaders to support vessel discharge, storage activities, and timely vehicle turnaround in a fast-paced port environment. The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and good IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a weighbridge and providing administration support in an operational environment is beneficial.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the traffic management system and ensure safe operation of the site.
• Operate the SCADA system and ensure tickets are processed in accordance with SOPs.
• Ensure vehicles entering/leaving are weighed accurately and communicated with engineers and team leaders.
• Support vessel discharge coordination and storage activities while reporting delays to Shift Supervisor.
