Job summary

Brent Libraries requires a friendly Library Support Worker to join Brent Council. You will provide frontline services to customers of all ages, help them find and borrow items, signpost to information, and support access to e-Library services and library activities.

You will also assist in delivering locality-based outreach programmes to promote literacy and reading within our diverse communities. The role involves weekend shifts on a 10-hour pattern and maintaining safe, welcoming library

Qualifications

• Experience in busy customer-facing environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Enthusiasm for books, reading and supporting literacy.
