Job summary

Lancashire County Council’s Libraries team is seeking a friendly Library Assistant in Skelmersdale. You will support access to services, help customers use digital resources, and assist in planning events to promote reading for pleasure.

The role is part-time (7 hours per week) at Skelmersdale Library, with pro rata pay and a fixed term until 20 May 2027. A welcoming, inclusive service is central to daily duties.
