Job summary

BaxterStorey invites passionate chefs to join our culinary team. As a Chef de Partie you will prepare and cook dishes to our head/sous chefs' specifications, while upholding food safety standards and quality.

You will manage your station, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a collaborative kitchen that values development, inclusivity, and a strong work ethic. We invest in your growth and offer training opportunities and career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Station Management – oversee station production and keep area stocked and clean.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality, presentation and taste.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – keep kitchen and equipment clean and in good order.
