They are now looking for a Website Manager to join them on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 36 hours per week.

The Role

As a Website Manager, you will oversee the development and ongoing improvement of our client’s three websites, ensuring they deliver an excellent user experience and perform effectively for diverse audiences.

With a strong focus on the organisation’s charity website, you will oversee both strategic and ad hoc website development, working closely with internal stakeholders to continuously improve content, UX, SEO and GEO across their digital estate.

You’ll serve as the technical lead, managing external developers and hosting suppliers, troubleshooting technical issues, and testing and signing off on all changes to ensure consistent quality and reliable delivery.

Taking ownership of website performance and compliance, you’ll use analytics and dashboards to share insight across teams, stay ahead of trends, and support the wider digital offer through content creation and in‑park digital experiences.

Additionally, you will:

  • Oversee the development of our client’s sports and leisure websites
  • Manage cookie consent compliance and related integrations
  • Line manage the Website Administrator
About You

To be considered as a Website Manager, you will need:

  • A successful track record in overseeing the ongoing development and UX improvement of websites
  • Experience working with external developers and with Agile development and testing methodology
  • Experience using website performance metrics to evaluate activity and influence planning and future development
  • Experience working across an organisation to provide an excellent service to a range of internal stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile project management processes and strong planning, co‑ordination and prioritisation
  • A strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques, and successfully managing strategic SEO implementation
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other website performance metrics measurement tools
  • A degree or an equivalent level of experience and professional development in website management, website content, and UX
