A leading UK university in Aberdeen seeks a Web Editorial and Content Assistant to enhance digital content related to research. With the centralising of REG income, we now have the opportunity to strategically target some of this resource to employ a dedicated Web Editorial and Content Assistant focused on research to curate a suite of content that shines a light on the world-leading and internationally excellent research carried out at RGU.
Your role will be to provide University-wide support and deliver on all aspects of website content related to RGU's research portfolio by supporting our academics to strategically produce compelling external-facing content for a range of audiences that evidences our research impact and infrastructure for REF 2029.
With a First Degree in either Marketing, Computing or related discipline, you should also have demonstrable experience in web editorial or digital marketing and communications, including planning and organising digital content for communications and marketing purposes, and proficient use of web technologies such as Content Management Systems within a commercial environment.

RESPONSIBLE FOR: No supervisory responsibility
PURPOSE OF POST: To provide business-critical support to enhance, develop and manage the web content of our research and knowledge exchange portfolio, maximising the positive difference that RGU's research makes to the wider society and economy. The role will specifically focus on ensuring RGU's messaging and web materials are fit for purpose in preparation for the Research Excellence Framework 2029.
