Our client is a major player in the water treatment/hygiene market delivering professional services to clients throughout the UK. Due to continued success, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and reliable Water Treatment Accounts/Service Engineer based in and around the Greater Manchester area. Applications from Wigan, Bolton, Rochdale, Stockport, Oldham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must come from a strong water treatment, technical, chemical, accounts, service, management, business development background.
• Experience working in this or similar role within the water treatment industry.
• Will have considerable experience of cooling towers and steam boilers.
• Be fully conversant with the water treatment/hygiene industry – ACOP L8.
• Competent with Microsoft Office package.
• Good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting chemical analysis on steam boilers and cooling towers.
• Interpretation of results, maintenance and installation of chemical dosing systems.
• Provide technical advice to the company’s portfolio of clients.
• Managing new and existing accounts.
• Monitoring the staff/team ensuring that work is carried out effectively.
• Scheduling workloads and inspection to meet the demands of the customers appropriately.
• Preparing quotations, visiting sites and dealing with any issues that may arise.
• Building a strong, professional relationship with large portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will be versatile with good organisational skills with the ability to take the business to the next level.
