Level of Experience: Trainee Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber through to Lead Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber

Our client is a reputable and established water treatment & hygiene company. They are looking for a hardworking and qualified Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Guildford area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or L3 in plumbing and have extensive experience undertaking cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, descales and disinfections, and carrying out remedial plumbing duties.

• Will hold extensive experience working within the Water treatment industry
• Will hold experience undertaking remedial plumbing duties to a range of sites
• Will ideally hold the NVQ L2 or L3 in plumbing
• Must be up to date with relevant Health & Safety legislation
• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office

Responsibility Overview

• Undertaking temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling and analysing water systems and interpreting the results
• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required
• Cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold‑water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing
• Using information from the site to produce detailed reports
• Descaling, disinfection, tank cleans and dosing
• Building and maintaining a good rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients
