Mitie is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to support water hygiene, Legionella compliance, and maintenance across designated sites from Salisbury and beyond. The role covers a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with visits to other Midlands sites as required.

You will perform PPMs, tank cleaning, sampling and maintain water log books while following L8 guidelines. We welcome applicants with relevant experience in similar fields and offer structured development and attendance at

Competenze

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• Applicants with limited or no direct experience are welcome if they have relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.

Mansioni

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Perform routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain customer water log books and document according to guidelines and policy.
• Carry out water system cleans and disinfections per L8 and company procedures.

ROLE: Water Technician - Level 1
HOURS: Full Time (40 Hours, Monday to Friday)

SALARY: £29-33K Per Annum
LOCATION: Salisbury (Mobile)

Role Responsibilities:

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carry out water system cleans and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves, and carrying out basic plumbing works where required.

Required Qualifications:

• Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
