Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with ongoing visits to sites across the Midlands. You will perform Legionella maintenance, routine monitoring, and water system care.

Applicants with experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment are encouraged; those with limited direct experience but relevant background are welcome. Advanced knowledge of maintaining water systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• Limited/no direct experience welcome if relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge of maintaining water systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.
