Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital, Coventry, with potential visits to sites across the Midlands. The role focuses on Legionella maintenance, water treatment, and ensuring compliance with L8 guidelines.

The successful candidate will perform monitoring, sampling, cleaning, and valve maintenance, while keeping accurate log books and documentation for audits and safety compliance.

Competenze

• Experience in Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment is required.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
• Applicants with limited or no direct experience are welcome if they have relevant experience in similar fields.

Mansioni

• Complete Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Carry out routine monitoring tasks in line with Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain water log books and documentation per guidelines and policy.
• Perform water system cleaning and disinfections per L8 and company procedures.
• Test, service and maintain thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing when needed.

Role Responsibilities

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment

• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
