Mitie is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to support water hygiene and Legionella compliance for a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with occasional travel to sites across the Midlands. Base location is Bristol (Mobile).

Role involves completing Legionella maintenance tasks, routine monitoring per L8, and maintaining water logs and documentation. Training and development pathways are provided, plus employee perks through Mitie Choices.

Competenze

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.

Mansioni

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintaining our customer's water log books and completing the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carrying out water system cleans and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves and undertaking basic plumbing works where required.

ROLE: Water Technician - Level 1

HOURS: Full Time (40 Hours, Monday to Friday)

SALARY: £29-33K Per Annum

LOCATION: Bristol (Mobile)

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintaining our customer's water log books and completing the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carrying out water system cleans and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves and undertaking basic plumbing works where required.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.
