Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover a fixed contract, primarily around Oxford with occasional travel to other Midlands sites. The role focuses on Legionella maintenance, monitoring, and water system care across client sites.

Job description

ROLE: Water Technician - Level 1

HOURS: Full Time (40 Hours, Monday to Friday)
SALARY: £29-33K Per Annum
LOCATION: Oxford (Mobile)

We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, although visits to other sites across the Midlands will be required from time to time.

Role Responsibilities:

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning.
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintaining our customers' water log books and completing the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carrying out water system cleaning and disinfection in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves, alongside basic plumbing works where required.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• Previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.
