Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Mobile Water Technician on a fixed-term contract to cover Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, with visits to other sites across the Midlands. The role involves performing Legionella maintenance, routine monitoring per L8, and maintaining water logs and documentation. Prior compliance servicing experience is preferred, but related experience is welcome. The position requires flexibility to travel across Midlands sites and work at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with Legionella monitoring or water treatment preferred
• Legionella maintenance and sampling experience
• Familiarity with water system documentation and log books

Responsibilities

• Completing Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain water log books and complete documentation per guidelines
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections per L8 and procedures
• Testing, servicing and maintaining thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing

We're proud to have the UK's largest team of trained engineers and are always on the look out for new people to join us!, We're looking for a Mobile Water Technician, to cover a fixed contract at Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, although other visits to other sites across the Midlands will be required from time to time

Role Responsibilities

• Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling and tank cleaning
• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment

• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
