Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support a major UK water infrastructure programme, seconde into Severn Trent in the Midlands, focusing on commercial and contractual delivery across NEC3/NEC4 contracts.

The role involves cost control, valuations, payment certification, change management and final accounts, with 3 days per week office/site in Derby. The position offers hybrid working and long-term career development within a major water capital delivery programme.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Valuations, change management and compensation events
• Procurement and final accounts
• Experience in Water/Utilities/Infrastructure
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Collaborative with project managers and contractors
• Water sector or client-side experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Providing commercial and contractual support across a portfolio of projects
• Working with Project Managers, contractors and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
• Managing NEC3/NEC4 contract administration
• Cost control, forecasting and budgeting
• Assessing contractor applications and payment valuations
• Supporting payment certification and change control
• Maintaining defined cost records and commercial reporting
• Supporting procurement and tender evaluation
• Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk
• Producing project commercial reporting
• Assisting with final accounts negotiation
