Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor to support a major UK water sector capital programme. Based in Coventry with hybrid work, the role covers commercial and contractual management across NEC3/NEC4 contracts, cost control, forecasting and payments.

You will work with Project Managers and contractors, assist with final accounts and risk management, and have exposure to Severn Trent's delivery programme.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Experience with valuations, change management and compensation events.
• Understanding of procurement and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and contractual support across a portfolio of projects throughout the lifecycle.
• Support NEC3/NEC4 contract management.
• Manage cost control, forecasting and budget management.
• Assess contractor applications and payment valuations.
• Support project managers with payment certification.
• Manage compensation events and project change.
• Review Defined Cost and maintain accurate commercial records.
• Support procurement and tender evaluation.
• Identify and manage commercial risk.
• Monitor performance and produce commercial reporting.
• Assist with final accounts negotiation and settlement.
• Develop relationships with contractors and delivery teams.
