Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (Water) to provide commercial and contractual leadership for a portfolio of Midlands infrastructure projects, seconded into Severn Trent. The role centres on NEC3/NEC4 contract management, cost control, and stakeholder engagement across a major UK water delivery programme.

The successful candidate will bring NEC experience, strong cost reporting, and a proactive approach to change control, with hybrid working and a long-term client-side

Qualifications

• Strong NEC3 and/or NEC4 contract experience.
• Experience across major infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Good understanding of procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Experience managing change and compensation events.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and contractual management of projects under NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Cost control, forecasting and budget management.
• Assessment of contractor applications and payment valuations.
• Managing projects through to final account.
• Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risk.
• Reviewing Defined Cost and supporting commercial decision making.
• Procurement and tender evaluation.
