Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a major UK water sector investment programme, based around Coventry. You will provide commercial and contractual support across NEC3/NEC4 projects, with client-side exposure to Severn Trent.

The role offers a long-term opportunity, a hybrid pattern with three days in the office or on site, and a competitive package up to £60,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Strong cost control, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience with valuations, change management and compensation events.
• Understanding of procurement and final accounts.
• Water, utilities or infrastructure background.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work with Project Managers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial and contract management under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Cost control, forecasting and budget management.
• Assess contractor applications and valuations.
• Support payment certification and change management.
• Manage compensation events and project changes.
• Review Defined Cost and maintain commercial records.
• Support procurement and tender evaluation.
• Identify and manage commercial risk.
• Produce commercial reporting and project performance reviews.
• Assist with final account negotiation and settlement.
• Develop relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
