Stantec is seeking a Process Engineer to support Clean Water and Wastewater projects across the UK lifecycle, including Southampton. You will develop process engineering solutions, perform calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and contribute to design documentation.

Join a multidisciplinary team to collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental specialists, support site investigations and contribute to continuous improvement while developing technical capability

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong interest or experience in water sector.
• Solid understanding of process engineering principles in water/wastewater.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Develop process engineering solutions: calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support process design from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments and optimisation.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental specialists.
• Work with project teams to understand client requirements and deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Build technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on experience across projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering practices.
