Job summary

Stantec is hiring a Senior Process Engineer - Clean Water to lead the development of process solutions for complex water treatment challenges. You will design, assess options and deliver robust solutions, coordinating with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure high-quality outputs.

The role requires Chartered Engineer status or active progression toward it, with substantial Clean Water project experience and strong communication to support clients and junior engineers

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant professional institution or actively working towards.
• Substantial experience in process engineering design and delivery for Clean Water projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes and associated engineering principles.
• Experience producing and reviewing process calculations, design documentation and technical specifications.
• Ability to take responsibility for technical work packages and coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of relevant UK water industry standards, regulations and design requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to engage with clients and support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process solutions for Clean Water challenges.
• Apply technical knowledge across projects from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues across different engineering disciplines.
• Contribute to the continued growth of our regional Process Engineering teams.
