Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Water Sector team across Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge. You will work on Clean Water and Wastewater projects, developing process solutions and contributing to diverse engineering challenges within a supportive team.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists, progress projects through feasibility to detailed design, and contribute to continuous improvement while building your technical capability and professional

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience or strong interest in developing a career in process engineering within water.
• Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions, including calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support process design from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work with civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental specialists to develop coordinated engineering solutions.
