Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Water Sector team, working across Clean Water and Wastewater projects in Reading, Brighton, Southampton or Cambridge. You will develop process solutions and support project delivery across the lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve sustainable outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, an interest in water engineering, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
• Interest or experience in developing a career in process engineering within the water sector.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment.
• Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Develop process engineering solutions, including calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and design documentation.
• Support process design from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and environmental specialists to develop coordinated solutions.
