Job summary

Stantec in the UK is seeking a Process Engineer to support process engineering work across clean water and wastewater projects, developing technical knowledge while collaborating with experienced engineers and project teams.

You will contribute to calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations, support feasibility through detailed design and construction, and grow through mentoring and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Interest in developing a career within process engineering and the water sector.
• Understanding of process engineering principles and water/wastewater treatment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of process engineering solutions, including calculations, mass balances, hydraulic assessments and treatment evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, calculations and other engineering deliverables.
• Support process design from feasibility and concept through to detailed design and construction support.
• Contribute to site investigations, asset assessments, treatment optimisation and technical studies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and support project teams in understanding client requirements and developing practical engineering solutions.
• Build your technical capability through mentoring, training and hands-on project experience, while contributing to innovation and continuous improvement.
