Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Network Service Technician based in Brixton to cover 38 hours per week with rota shifts. You will operate and isolate water mains for planned or emergency works, resolve customer queries, assist with leakage detection, and support ongoing projects across South London sites.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, strong customer service, and the ability to work hands-on independently. Basic plumbing knowledge is desirable; a company van will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK licence required; travel between sites will be necessary; a company van will be provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to complete hands-on tasks independently.
• Basic knowledge of domestic plumbing or water mains/leakage is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and isolate water mains for planned or emergency works.
• Own and resolve customer queries and complaints at homes or workplaces.
• Support project work and leakage detection activities.
• Investigate and resolve network performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and water quality standards.
