Job summary

Electrical Technician role within Thames Water's Waste Water team in the Thames Valley North area, based in Little Marlow. You will inspect, maintain, diagnose faults, test and repair electrical equipment across sites with minimal supervision, contributing to reliable operations for customers.

You will join a dedicated team, performing 38 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with standby, overtime opportunities, and a potential earning uplift with training completions.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ/C&G Level 3 in electrical engineering.
• 18th Edition preferred, but training can be given.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Undertake reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Install new plant and equipment in line with standards.
• Record asset information and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide technical advice and support, including coaching and development of staff.
