Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a supervisor to lead digging teams on a United Utilities contract. You will provide technical expertise, ensure high-quality site work, and drive first-time reinstatement. You will coordinate scheduling, liaise with internal and external customers, and support training for career progression.

You will also manage KPIs, oversee safety inspections, and use the GARD system to monitor work quality and behaviours. A proactive, team-focused attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven communication skills and ability to coach teams.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and commitment to best practices.
• Understanding of right-first-time work principles.
• Experience with utilities or water network projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take operational responsibility for digging teams and in-day activities.
• Organise labour, recruitment, wages, and absence management in a cost-effective way.
• Manage materials, plant, and other resources.
• Conduct monthly team briefings and develop staff.
