Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Water Agent to manage resources and deliver infrastructure projects on the North West water network for United Utilities.

Based at Crooklands, you will supervise on-site teams, coordinate plant, labour and subcontractors, uphold health and safety standards, and provide regular progress updates to the client.

The role requires strong leadership, good communication, and familiarity with utilities work, with a full-time on-site commitment.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities sector and clean water projects.
• Knowledge of civils, drainage, and water schemes.
• Ability to manage site safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site New Connections & Developer Services projects.
• Visit site teams regularly to review progress and standards.
• Organise resources (plant, labour, materials, subcontractors) cost-effectively.
• Ensure health and safety procedures on site.
• Report progress to management and client weekly.
• Act as Health & Safety Representative and investigate incidents.
