Zusammenfassung

WSP in the United Kingdom & Ireland seeks an Associate/Technical Director to lead our urban drainage modelling capability and guide the technical delivery team in a high‑performing water discipline. You will influence project delivery for clients such as Severn Trent, Scottish Water Horizons, Welsh Water and Southern Water.

You will shape technical direction, build trusted client relationships, support business development and contribute to the growth of the water team within a global

Qualifikationen

• Degree is required and chartership or progress toward chartership with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM.
• Experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling and ability to check outputs prior to issue.
• Knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Codes of Practice and relevant British Standards.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

• Lead the development of urban drainage modelling capability and keep ahead of evolving methods and standards.
• Support day-to-day management of the technical delivery team.
• Provide technical input on urban drainage projects with the wastewater team.
• Apply independent professional judgement to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Build strong client relationships and facilitate project meetings.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and strategic growth.
• Represent WSP in industry forums and conferences.
• Share knowledge to develop the wider water team.
