Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate Director to shape the future of water environments. You will lead urban drainage modelling capability, guide technical delivery, and influence project outcomes for clients like Severn Trent and Scottish Water Horizons.

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer status with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM preferred.
• Experience with wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM).
• Familiarity with Water Industry Specifications and Codes of Practice for urban drainage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of urban drainage modelling capability.
• Support day-to-day management of the technical delivery team.
• Provide authoritative technical input on urban drainage projects.
• Apply independent professional judgement to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Build strong client relationships and lead project meetings.
• Contribute to proposals and strategic growth opportunities.
• Represent WSP in industry forums and conferences.
• Share knowledge to develop the wider water team.
