Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Associate Director to shape the future of our water environment. You’ll guide our teams, strengthen technical capability, and influence delivery for clients such as Severn Trent, Scottish Water Horizons, Welsh Water, and Southern Water.

Based in the UK with a hybrid working pattern, you’ll lead urban drainage modelling development, manage a technical delivery team, and build trusted client relationships while pursuing Chartership with ICE, IEI, IoW or

Qualifications

• A relevant degree and chartered, or significantly progressed toward qualification with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater hydraulics and ability to check outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of urban drainage modelling capability and keep the team ahead of evolving methods and standards.
• Support day-to-day management of the technical delivery team.
• Provide authoritative technical input on urban drainage projects and work with the wastewater team.
• Apply professional judgment to solve complex engineering challenges and drive innovation.
• Build strong client relationships and run project meetings.
