Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Capture Management Lead for its Water Strategy & Growth team in the UK with responsibility for major enterprise pursuits (£25m+). The role requires visionary leadership to drive capture, positioning, and long-term client engagement, with flexibility for remote work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in pursuit-capability development within a consultancy.
• Proven ability to steer complex capture strategies across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong client listening, win strategy design, and market positioning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise critical pursuits (ECP/Tier 2) from identification to submission.
• Direct discovery, differentiation and delivery strategies for major programs.
• Own governance, budgets, and team composition for winning pursuits.
• Coordinate with global and regional teams to align growth plans.
• Develop and refine client positioning and capture plans across opportunities.
• Coach teams on engagement, positioning, and interview preparations.
