Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly, organised Receptionist to join Market Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months. Based at our North Devon two-site practice, you will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience.

You will manage the diary, handle enquiries, support client communications and work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with a strong focus on service and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets in a friendly, compassionate and helpful manner.
• Efficiently manage the diary to maximise appointment slots and handle online bookings.
• Answer busy phone lines, emails and other client communications.
• Register clients for the Pet Health Club.
• Process payments.
