inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly Receptionist for a 32-hour-per-week role across its Market Vets site in North Devon. This fixed-term maternity cover focuses on delivering a welcoming client experience while supporting diary management, payments and client communications.

The role emphasizes high standards of service, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach in a two-site mixed practice that cares for a variety of animals, including exotics and orthopaedics.

Veterinary Receptionist (Maternity Leave)

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Market Vets on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.

We are a friendly, two-site mixed practice based in North Devon, just a short drive from Exmoor and the stunning North Devon beaches. Our practice boasts modern, well-equipped facilities and a diverse range of clinical interests among our team, including exotics and orthopaedics.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

This is a part-time role working 32 hours per week.
